This is the story of Ella. Ella used to have a family. Unfortunately, her owners didn't keep her safe and yesterday she was hit by a car and sustained a spinal fracture. Her owners took her to the vet and learned Ella has an excellent chance at recovery if she gets surgery. But the owners didn't want to pay for the procedure so they signed off Ella to the clinic, authorizing the vets to euthanize her.
Thankfully, our vet partners don't believe in ending lives that have potential for love and health so the clinic called the rescuers. Sadly, Ella suffered from a pulmonary embolism which took her life in spite of all the vets' efforts. Run free, sweet girl, you mattered!
