Friends,

Meet tiny Elena. She was rescued from the streets of Bulgaria with an injured paw. We don't know what has caused this injury but one of Elena's front legs was bent and she was unable to put weight on it and was simply dragging it. This, as you can imagine, was the source of pain and additional wounds. Thankfully kind people found Elena and brought her to the attention of the rescuers and they couldn't leave her on the streets like this. Elena has already started on the road to recovery and needs our help in funding her treatment: surgery, a brace, and extensive rehabilitation. Happy 5th birthday to AAI!

Today marks 5 years since Animal Aid International began operations as a tiny 501(c)3 non-profit! It has been a journey more powerful, emotional, humbling, and inspiring than we could have ever imagined. There have been ups and downs for sure. Through it all, thanks to the help of our donors and supporters, we have been able to make a difference in the lives of SO MANY animals in need!
