2015 - Sep 4 - Poppy

Friends,

This is a modest fundraiser for pup Poppy from Romania. Poor Poppy was owned by someone but was terribly neglected. The sweet girl spent her entire life tied to a short chain which was so tight that it dug into her neck and turned it into a constant open wound. The rescuers were able to get Poppy out of that horrible situation and begin the process of rehabilitation. We are hoping you will help raise the funds for a sterilization, vaccination, microchip, and parasite treatment for Poppy. This is the basic medical attention she needs so she can start a new life. In addition, the sweet girl will need love and patience so she can begin trusting people again after one betrayed and mistreated her for so long. YOU can help Poppy have a fresh start! Friends,

This is a modest combined fund to help 7 pups rescued from the streets of Romania - Lace, Lord, Peanut, Riley, Ronnie, Toby, and Wolfie. Each of these sweet doggies comes from a life of hardship and deprivation and is lucky to have been found by the rescuers. Thanks to your support and that of a few other generous sponsors, the rescuers were able to stabilize the health of the pups and prepare them for being adopted in the UK. As a step on the journey to forever homes, the pups need kennel cough vaccines for which we are fundraising today. Please consider making a contribution to the modest fund to help these 7 souls. Friends,

This is a combined fund for 5 sweet pups rescued in Romania. Tina was rescued as the only surviving pup in a homeless litter, all of her siblings killed. Tina needs funds for wound treatment for the bite wounds she sustained together with her siblings during the attack. Dana and Leo were found alone in the middle of a busy road. They need vaccines, parasite treatment, and microchips so they can be adopted. Kacey was found in a field with a bite wound as well. She needs funds for wound treatment, parasite treatment, vaccines, and chip. Lastly, tiny Maurice. The poor soul was found tied inside a plastic bag and thrown into a water-filled ditch! It is amazing that a kind person happened to see the moving bag. Maurice needs funds for a neuter, parasite treatment, vaccines, and a chip. Please consider helping these 5 souls today:https://www.youcaring.com/animal-aid-international-455028

Thanks to your support, Kacey has been happily adopted in the UK!

2015 - Oct 14 - Naydena

Friends,

Meet tiny Naydena. She was rescued from the streets of Bulgaria where she was most likely kicked severely. And had to live with her injuries for a while. By the time she was found, the little soul had a diaphragmatic hernia and a broken hip which the vets could tell had gone untreated for some time. So much suffering in a little bitty body! Naydena is hoping you will help raise the funds for her surgeries and give her a new lease on life. 2015 - Oct 13 - Tina

Friends,

This is the story of little Tina from Romania. Tina and her 2 tiny siblings were seen on the streets by a kind stranger who was walking a dog. The woman gave the pups some food and decided to check on them again the following day, when she was better prepared to help. Unfortunately, by the time she visited the bushes where she had seen the pups, the woman found two pups dead with terrible wounds - they had likely been torn apart by larger dogs. Poor tiny Tina had a wound as well but somehow had managed to survive and was terrified.

Thankfully, the rescuers were able to take Tina in and nurse her to health. With this fundraiser, we are hoping you will help us raise the modest amount needed for vaccine, parasite treatment, and microchip for this sweet girl. Let's give Tina a chance at a happier future! 2015 - Sep 22 - Lady

Friends,

This is Lady - an older cat rescued from the streets of Bulgaria. The poor soul was found when someone heard her cough and heavy breathing and became worried. The exam showed that there is a serious inflammation in Lady's lungs as well as very poor liver function. As if this were not enough, there is a tumor on the side of her neck. Thankfully, there are no additional masses on her body so the vets are working to get the inflammation under control first before removing the tumor.

Please consider donating to this poor older gal. Lady needs our help in getting the chance to live out the rest of her life free of suffering. Donate here: https://www.youcaring.com/animal-aid-international-438070

2015 - Sep 17 - Jojo, Buksi, Inga, Samantha, Lupita, and Guyri

Friends,

This is a modest combined fund for 6 dogs under the care of the rescuers in Romania. Jojo needs funds for a spay. She is one of 3 dogs who are cared for by a very poor family who had the pups on a chain and could only afford to give them bread. Can you imagine such an existence? And originally there were 6 dogs (3 of them have already been adopted in the UK thanks to the rescuers!). The remaining 3 pups are safe with the family and the rescuers are helping care for them. The rescue group built the pups a safe enclosure so they are off the chain and are helping with food and medical care until different arrangements can be made.

Buksi, Inga, Samantha, Lupita, and Guyri need funds for internal parasite treatment. These sweeties are also not in foster care (since there are nowhere near enough foster homes) but are living in the yard of a factory. The rescuers provided them shelter and come by with food and medication and are looking for anyone interested in adopting them. Donate here: https://www.youcaring.com/animal-aid-international-435143

2015 - Aug 16 - Misho

Friends,

This is Misho. The tiny boy was rescued from the streets of Bulgaria where strangers saw him trying to drag himself along the side of a road. Turns out the poor sweetheart was shot with a pellet gun! Given how close to his spine the pellet ended up, it's a miracle he survived the ordeal! The vets performed immediate surgery on Misho (working on credit!) to give him as much of a chance to walk again as possible. Thankfully, the little boy is a survivor and is fighting for his life with all he's got. Please help us raise the funds for Misho's surgery. Let's help him on the road to safety and a new life. 2015 - Aug 12 - Lord

Friends,

This is a modest fund for pup Lord from Romania. Like so many others, Lord was rescued from the streets where he likely spent all his life, an existence of deprivation. When he came into rescue, Lord was very shy and not trusting of people. We can only imagine what abuse he may have suffered at the hands of humans. Thankfully, this sweet pup is coming out of his shell and starting to enjoy company. Please help us raise the modest amount Lord needs for the treatment of an ear infection as well as for vaccine, microchip, and a parasite treatment. Let's help him get a fresh start in life! 2015 - Aug 12 - Lace, Szilard

Friends,

This is the combined fund for pups Lace and Szilard rescued in Romania. The two sweeties have stories like so, so many other dogs - who knows how and why they found themselves on the streets. But the hunger, cold, and diseases they faced being homeless are indescribable. Thankfully, both pups have been taken into the safety of foster care. Today we ask for your help in raising the funds for Szilard's neuter and microchip and Lace's vaccines and microchip. Please help these lovely souls prepare for forever homes. 2015 - Nov 12 - Mecho

Friends,

This is the story of Mecho (meaning Bear). Mecho is a sweet young boy, no more than a year old, homeless on the streets of Bulgaria. Who knows how and why he found himself hungry and alone. As if being homeless was not bad enough, Mecho encountered yet one more of the dangers so often befalling animals on the streets - he was hit by a car. The injury he sustained is very serious and broke his pelvis in 2 spots, almost irreparably damaging his spine. When he was taken to the vet by the kind strangers who witnessed the hit-and-run, it turned out poor Mecho also has the often deadly heartworm. So much suffering in one innocent body!

Mecho needs funds for a complex surgery as well as for the long and dangerous treatment of heartworm. He is hoping you would make a donation of any tax-deductible amount to his care. Please join us in giving this soul a fresh start in life! Donate here: https://www.youcaring.com/animal-aid-international-468143

2015 - Feb 3 - Goshko

Friends,

Meet Goshko. He is a sweet little boy who was hit by a car right outside a school in Bulgaria. The children saw this and found a way to alert the rescuers. Unfortunately, the little boy sustained a lot of injuries. He has a broken leg, a hernia, and a collapsed lung! So much suffering in one tiny body. Thankfully, the vets are optimistic about the prognosis for Goshko and hope he will be able to recover after the surgeries he needs.

Please donate to this sweet boy's treatment today. Goshko needs our help so he can have a fresh start in life, free of pain and deprivation. Donate here: http://www.youcaring.com/nonprofits/goshko/301440

2015 - Feb 7 - Shen

Friends,

Meet Shen. He is a sad older doggie rescued from the streets of Bulgaria. He was likely homeless all his life and a couple of days ago suffered what so many streets pups experience - he was hit by a car. Shen sustained a jaw fracture and a broken leg. Thankfully, neither injury is life-threatening and Shen is expected to make a full recovery following surgery and rehabiliation. Please donate to this sweet pup and help us give Shen a fresh start and a life free of pain. Donate here:http://www.youcaring.com/nonprofits/shen/303513

Thanks to your support, Shen recovered completely and has been adopted. His forever Mom tells us when he got home and got a chance to see the yard, he curled up under a bush - this is how the poor boy had survived all his life until now :( Thankfully, Shen now has a warm safe home, a cozy bed, and humans who love him. Before too long, he will forget all about life on the streets!

2015 - Feb 18 - Ena

Friends,

Ena is a sweet doggie rescued from the streets of Serbia. She was initially found hit by a car and received surgery for broken pelvis. The sweet girl worked really hard at getting better and rehabilitated successfully. Unfortunately, it turns out there was some residual trauma to her leg that showed up slowly. As a result of this, Ena is now retaining very significant amounts of fluid in her knee and requires surgical drainage. Please help us raise the funds for this sweetie. Let's give her relief from this affliction! Donate here:http://www.youcaring.com/nonprofits/ena/309222

2015 - Feb 23 - Fanti, Faina, Foka

Friends,

This is the story of Fanti, Faina, and Foka, 3 tiny sisters rescued from the streets of Bulgaria. The poor babies were found alone, who knows if the offspring of someone's pet or of one of the countless homeless dogs. Unfortunately, the sisters were not only alone but also sick with the frequently deadly parvo. A disease often fatal to even strong, healthy pets. Amazingly, these sweeties must have been born under a lucky star because they are making a steady recovery! Fanti, Faina, and Foka are projected to beat parvo! Please help us raise the funds for the life-saving treatment these sweet souls need. Let's give them a boost on their journey of rescue and looking for forever homes. 2015 - Feb 23 - Lea, Linda

Friends,

This is a modest combined fund for 2 doggies rescued in Romania. Sweet Lea and Linda are poor souls who were surviving on the harsh, cruel streets for all their lives. If they were lucky, they were fed plain dry bread. If not, they were just kicked around. Thankfully, the rescuers stepped in and are helping care for these sweeties, keeping them safe in the hopes of finding permanent homes. Today's fund is raising the money for spays and vaccinations for Linda and Lea. Please help us support these sweeties in finding a brighter future! Donate here:http://www.youcaring.com/nonprofits/lealinda/311822

2015 - Feb 25 - Misko

Friends,

This is the story of Misko. He is a sweet young doggie rescued from the streets of Serbia. Kind people saw Misko trying to survive on the streets and contacted the rescuers. Since Misko was not injured and all foster homes were full, the rescuers had no option but to provide him with a basic shelter and food and keep checking on him regularly. Some neighbors were displeased with the arrangement and wanted Misko gone. The rescuers started working feverishly to find a temporary home. Unfortunately, before this could happen one of the days they went to check in on him, the poor boy was gone. The rescuers looked and looked and found him on a street nearby, huddled and terrified. He had a broken pelvis and a leg wound. It's possible the sad pup was chased away and in the process hit by a car. Or he was simply beaten to the point of sustaining such injuries.

Sadly, it took this for Misko to get off the streets. He is being fostered and needs our help in funding his pelvic surgery and leg treatment. Please consider donating today. Donate: http://www.youcaring.com/nonprofits/misko/313025
