This site at a glance

Welcome to Animal Aid International's new site! The site will be under construction for a while as we transition to the new format and gradually add more content. Our featured post will always be pinned to the top of the page, directly below this text. That is the fundraiser most in need of support. In the menu on the right you can click to learn a little more about AAI and can navigate to stories of animals we have helped. Please note at this time only fundraisers for 2016 and 2017 are fully loaded and we will be slowly adding more stories from previous years. Thank you for your support of our work!

2016 - Mar 23 - RR 15 dogs parasite treatment

This is a combined fund for 15 dogs under the care of the volunteer rescuers in Romania. The rescuers have very few options for foster homes but so many animals they want to help! So the compromise for these pups is that they are safe and the rescuers care for them daily, ensuring shelter, food, water, and medical care until adoptive homes are found. 6 of the pups live in the yard of a factory - Fetita, Buksi, Samantha, Lupita, Inga, and Gyuri. 3 pups live in a set o...f pens the rescuers fundraised for - Rocky, Jojo, and Rexi. 4 of the pups live at a cemetery - Fetita (repeat name, a very common one), Szilard, Sepi, and Nina. And 2 others are at yet a different location - Fetita (#3!) and Papousi. This fundraiser is for flea and tick preventative treatment for all 15 dogs for the next 3 months. A fairly modest amount to help all these souls be free of parasites. Please consider donating today:

2016 - Mar 21 - Dino

This is Dino. He is a sweet kitty rescued from the streets of Bulgaria. Dino was found with a badly broken jaw, likely having been kicked in the head. Thankfully, the vet intervened immediately and performed complex surgery on Dino's jaw and inserted support wires. Dino needs to wear the wires for a while so his jaw can properly heal and he can eat on his own. Unfortunately, the jaw inju...ry is not the only health issue Dino is battling. The poor boy has feline immunodeficiency virus - kitty HIV. There is no cure for this diagnosis but Dino will need a safe, indoor environment where he can live away from infections which to him can be deadly. Please join us in raising the funds for Dino's treatment. Let's give this sweetie a new lease on life! Donate here:

Thanks to your support, Dino recovered fully and his happy in his forever home!

2016 - Mar 12 - Charlie

Meet Charlie. He's a sweet dog who had been homeless on the streets of Bulgaria all his life. Kind neighbors would try to give him some food and check on him. Unfortunately, one day recently they saw Charlie being lethargic and limping and they contacted the rescuers. It turns out Charlie has the often deadly heartworm. Thankfully, the leg wound that caused him to limp is minor and will heal quickly.

Please join us in raising the funds for sweet Charlie's heartworm and wound treatment. Let's give this boy a chance at health and love:
