Meet Lazar. He is a sweet boy, no older than a year and a half. Lazar was found on the streets of Bulgaria dragging his back legs, unable to step on them. We'll never know how exactly he sustained his trauma - whether he was hit by a car, beaten, or if something else happened. Thankfully, upon detailed testing, Lazar does have sensitivity in his legs and with rehabilitation and neurostimulation should be able to walk again. The poor boy had so many fleas and ticks all over his body that his skin had sores from him scratching himself all the time. As if all of this were not enough, Lazar also has heartworm!
Thanks to your support Lazar not only recovered fully but can now run!
